The Cutting Edge

Have you been following along like an addicted blog follower; impatiently tapping your foot between the monthly posts? Did you keep up with the happenings that have been taking place as we forge our way forward? Are you up to date on the current tasks we are tackling or have leveled our gazes at? Well, if you said yes to any of those questions then you might arch an eyebrow at this months post.

Goodness, cartography is a tedious, slow-going process. Quite frankly my dear I have little to no desire to push forward on those tasks at the moment. In fact, it is going to require a heavenly decree from nothing short of an archangel to bring me back to those grueling life-sucking efforts. I would rather scratch my nails down a chalkboard or revert back to dial-up then spend one more minute creating a map. I jest not, it truly is that monotonous.

So to keep the progress moving forward I decided to try my hand at weaponsmithing. With several pumps of the bellows, the coals have been transformed to crimson balls of fire, the iron ingots melted into a ferociously intemperate glowing ooze and the sand molds have provided the therapeutic guidance to shaping some of the finest argument-enders in the Kingdoms. But my fine fellows and felonious foes don't take my word for it, look for yourself, but keep your hands off the merchandise, for these items are for display purposes only.

The idea was to include an immense choice of armaments to provide a solid foundation not only for character personalization but also to aid and abed the creativity of our future blacksmiths. Epimetheus is going to be one of the finest balances of industrial to PvP game play the world has ever encountered. Just the scope of a task as legendary as blending a fully simulated sandbox game with action zones for PvPers, complex recipes and skill evolutions for industrialists alongside civilization management for the strategist and player-generated content mechanisms to allow for player-controlled storylines is well, almost unfathomable. But hey, we like to think astronomically big here at Mane & Crown.

While there have been more dilemmas and tragedies to befall our team this year than the whole house of Stark has suffered in the first two seasons of GOT (ok, that is a serious exaggeration), we are still pushing forward with our unprecedented adventure. So hold onto your mounts reins cause this team exemplifies tenacity like an unbroken bronco in its third consecutive rodeo. We may have a sore derriere and a few bruises, but we continue to soldier on with, an almost, demonic diligence.

Do you have any ideas that you would like to see incorporated into the game? Perhaps there are swords or axes that you would like to see included that are not in there now. No matter what sort of feedback you have to offer, we want to hear from you. So drop us a line, send us a pic or give us a description, share your ideas or vent your disdain, we can take it. Just remember an idea left unsaid is an unborn possibility that is a calamity we frown upon here.
