Transitions and Transformations

Having taken a two-month hiatus from social media we would have expected there to be a noticeable difference in the media outlets and the political landscape. Alas, it seems as though there is still much of the same. But in the midst of great storms, people will seek the security of anything solid and predictable. We hope that you can find that peace and tranquility in our monthly posts as we boldly push forward.

Blogger has recently updated its interface. Having just returned the extent of the changes have yet to be discovered. While getting used to the new setup may take a little time the transition has been relatively painless. Their icons have changed but so subtly that there are very few of those frustrating moments where one finds themself lost, confused, and discouraged, kudos to the Dev Team at Blogger for that accomplishment.

This change comes just before one of the greatest transformations that Team Epimetheus has ever sought to accomplish. We are moving from a blog to a full-fledged website! Yahoo!!! There have simply been too many inconsistencies and unaddressed concerns on blogger. While we will always hail them as one of the easiest and most enjoyable platforms to present your ideas and hobbies on, certain features never were accessible to us. There is also a certain level of professionalism that accompanies your own domain name.

Our first website built for a non-profit is nearing completion and should launch by the end of next month. Once that has launched we will provide a link so everyone can get a look at what the team was up to during our two-month internet strike. While we intend on keeping the new "World of Epimetheus" website as similar to the blog as possible, inevitably there will be changes. Looking forward, the greatest challenge will be incorporating the 'newsletter' format where our blog posts are emailed to our followers. Expect this feature to roll out much later than the visual aspect of the site. The functionality behind that is undoubtedly complicated, but our team is eager for the challenge.

Stay safe, think healthy, and keep your eyes focused on tomorrow while staying grounded in today. Over and out.

Team Epimetheus
