Happy holidays! Or better yet Merry Christmas!

There is something so captivating about the holidays. There's the lights, decorations, Christmas music, family, friends, and my personal favorite: hot cocoa! While it is a bit overwhelming to some, it is intoxicating to many others. Trees are dressed in various arrays of tinsel, bulbs and lights. Gifts are wrapped. Cards wishing well and prayers of love are sent abroad and there is this general spirit of generosity and goodwill that prevails.

This spirit delivers warmth and love around the world every year. It inspires acts of kindness, pulls our human race together in an unprecedented way and moves us as a species closer to our best face. While the mythical mascot of this holiday is preparing his sleigh and satchel, to commit the largest B&E imaginable, the true reason of the season is already at work.

Jesus is our gift from our creator. No shiny wrapping paper, no bows or frills, nor are there candied sweets and feasts of breads and meats. Just a child who is the human embodiment of an omnipotent God. This small, defenseless child is our 'get out of jail free' card. Here in the physical plane we have a spiritual contract that sets free our souls from the bad deal sold by the most diabolical peddler in existence. Death was never meant for us in the first place.

The Amazing World of Epimetheus has three major planes upon which it functions. The physical plane is the one that will be represented graphically in game by wildlife, NPCs and the environment. The spiritual plane is represented through the forms of worship, enchanting of items and the blessings and curses available to the spiritual hierarchy, as well as the manifestation of ghosts. Lastly is the Astral plane which manifests itself in all matters magical ie: spell creation and casting as well as the faerie races and sorcerers.

The consumer market is an insatiable beast with a passing pallet. She doesn't generally feed in the same field for long. So how do you earn consumer loyalty? How do you keep her grazing in your glen forever? Evolution of course. The game must evolve responsively to the consumer market. Therefore the relationship between the players and the direction of the game are symbiotic. Large companies have a fiscal responsibility to their share-holders and this prevents that relationship from flourishing or existing at all. Not a concern for Team E!

Video games can rise and fall in the blink of an eye. Hobbies, however, last most peoples lives. By tying tools into the game engine that offer players the ability to build and develop content, forever impacting the way the game is played, ties content creation to the market that is consuming that very same content. An infinite loop of evolution, never mind the critical amounts of emotional ownership this will nurture in the consumers. Epimetheus will be studied in classrooms long after the Dev Pro (Developer Producer) is dead and gone. Reaching for the stars settling for nothing less than new skies my fellow adventurers.

One final note my ever patient readers. Our Facebook page is the most direct feed of completion for Epimetheus. The most updated info it can be found in that group. Blog posts are meant more as a 'milestone' and 'review' summary. Presented with a little charisma and whit. Well...that is the intention anyhow.

We here at Team E are always on the lookout for creative talent and aspiring artists. Please feel free to contact us and share your opinions, views or suggestions. This can be done in a few ways. You can leave a comment to this post, or join our Facebook page and reach out that way and of course you can always send an email to nathan.epimetheus@gmail.com.

Remember to keep your dreams alive, your imagination could very well depend on it.
