What on Epimetheus Have You Been Doing?

Well, life is chaotic is it not? All the best laid plans in the world are bound to run into challenges. When I was younger I would come up with contingency plans to fall back upon when the initial plan went fubar. As time went by I came to quickly realize that this wasn't always that effective.

So what does one do? Looser plans with a knack for adapting to the circumstances at hand. This approach has proven far more efficient than anything else that had been tried previously. To anyone outside of the circumstances, or: "outside of the know ", it might look like chaos. At the very least it might seem to be haphazard.

There has been absolutely no progress in developing the culture for the Goblin race. Having researched the goblins of the LOTR world and doing some historical lore research as well has left us unsure. Nothing that we have found really falls inline with our desired outcome. Therefore these green-skinned hunters will remain undeveloped for the moment.

Progress on the 'pilot game' has been progressing at a good pace however. We have completed the Game Design Document, with a little more in-depth time to go into character development scheduled. We purchased access to an Art Generating AI to overcome the hurdle of not having an illustrator or digital artist on hand. Utilizing this AI program we have produced over two hundred usable images for the pilot game.

Using preexisting art assets in tandem with the AI assets, we have updated all of the aesthetics of the Lairs. New Labels were crafted, backgrounds were updated and even some links were changed. In the Armory we changed the background (bg) and touched up the label. The Mechanics lair both the bg and the label were replaced. The Professions lair also saw a change in both the bg and the label. In addition, the links for both Trades and Classes have been turned into image links.

The Races lair we took a different approach, as the AI was not at all cooperative about producing the images that we wanted. What we did there was took the old bg and edited it so that the races were more visible. The Resources lair saw some of the greatest progress in artwork as it seemed that the AI shined in crafting these images for us. It also saw both bg and label changes. We strongly suggest taking a look at that lair.

The Wildlife lair also saw a fair amount of AI produced artwork. Using that art as well as some of our previous entries from other contributors, we changed the bg and label. Last but not least was the World lair. Unfortunately, that lair has not received any updates as of yet. But that could change at any time, so be sure to keep an eye on it.
