 The blood of dragons is said to run through the veins of the planet itself. Older than time with origins as uncertain as to the part they play in the world of Men, Monsters, and Fairie; Dragonkind span breeds, species, and physical boundaries. Most noticeable to the World of Epimetheus and its inhabitants are the colossal Dragons. These seven breeds of the colossal dragon species are elusive, powerful, and highly intelligent. However, there are many dragon subspecies. One of the more notable is the Draconian people of Glatar. There is another subspecies known as dragonette, with a diverse and colorful list of breeds. From the two-headed Viator to the feathered Dragonhawk, dragonettes come in many shapes and sizes. It is within this line of wildlife that we have been focused on this last quarter.  March is already half over. Stimulus checks are being distributed around the country. Bans due to COVID are finally being lifted. Spring is only a few days away. Yeah, baby!!! Change is happening. But what about our beloved game project? Where is that at? What has been going on there? Where ya at Mr. Blog-poster?  This blog has been running for nearly three years now. There have been hundreds of improvements as well as phenomenal progress made. All of which is documented in posts within this Blog and summaries found on our website . But since the beginning of this year, things have gone quiet. Inquiring minds want to know: what's up? This blog was created to serve two purposes. The first was to elicit the help of others in developing the game. The secondary purpose was to communicate with the public the progress being made in developing the game. Christmas has come and gone, the New Year is already losing its shine and sparkle, yet the mantle that proudly holds every monthly post has remained bare. While bells of holiday cheer rang and virtual fireworks cascaded down televisions. Team E was in the workshop whittling away at our newest display case. Now that the holiday leftovers are gone it is time to level our visages toward the horizon and the promises found just over its crest. This year we will be expanding our website, art assets, and locking down a full resource map for Aborlon. We will develop an Art Style Guide with the aid of our followers on social media. In addition, we will formalize both a Game Design Documen t as well as a Technical Design Document . Features will be added to the website to allow people to submit their artwork directly as well as download the tools that we are using to develop the game.  There has been much excitement here. Bustle, of a sort, buzzes around every nook and cranny. 'Yeet's of joy are uttered with minimal constraint. Team members diligently tackle tasks with smiles of contentment. Yes, things are certainly looking up at the fun factory. 'What exactly is all the fuss about?' you may ask. Well, our new website of course.   The index, or home page, along with the lairs have been created. Content is being both remastered and crafted offering a professional and clean feel to it. Much of this polishing is made possible by the growing talents of our very own Concept Artist Nathan and his talent with the free program paint.net .  It is the tenth month in one of the craziest years I think any of us have ever encountered. So the topic of change shouldn't shock anyone, right? While we may be concerned for your health and well-being Team E is in a perfect situation to progress with no real hindrance from any virus. We produce our efforts in the comfort of our own homes, or wherever you and your portable device may fancy, we have no deadlines that are written in stone, and we work on a minimal budget. The only real impact, aside from any emotional turmoil or civil unrest, has been MORE free time to work on the project. Having taken a two-month hiatus from social media we would have expected there to be a noticeable difference in the media outlets and the political landscape. Alas, it seems as though there is still much of the same. But in the midst of great storms, people will seek the security of anything solid and predictable. We hope that you can find that peace and tranquility in our monthly posts as we boldly push forward. Blogger has recently updated its interface. Having just returned the extent of the changes have yet to be discovered. While getting used to the new setup may take a little time the transition has been relatively painless. There has been so much craziness going on in the last couple of months that we here at Team Epimetheus have been wary about how best to move forward. With the pandemic scare, quarantine, riots, and national curfew, things have been concerning. To hear that mass numbers of Americans will be treated as terrorists on American soil is gut-wrenching. We do not condone police brutality nor do we condone violence toward our civil servants and stewards of law. We believe in our right to freedom of speech and assembly but do not condone violence and looting. At a time when our nation is facing a global pandemic, we as Americans must display the courage, objectivity, tolerance, and sensibility that we wish to find in others.  Our hearts are heavily burdened by the violence, the senseless killings, and the inappropriate riots that are plaguing our nation.
